South Barrington is about to get a major adrenaline boost! SIM Racing South Barrington officially opens this weekend at The Arboretum, bringing a high-end racing simulator experience that’s perfect for both casual drivers and serious race fans.
• Grand Opening: Saturday, May 3 | 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM
• F1 Watch Party: Sunday, May 4 | Miami Grand Prix LIVE | 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Owned by South Barrington resident Igor Staron and Kamil Witkowski (who also owns the SIM Racing Algonquin location), SIM Racing South Barrington features 10 state-of-the-art racing simulators, including 8 full-motion SIMs and 2 specialized drift SIMs. Built for realism and excitement, these SIMs can reach simulated speeds of up to 250 MPH and are the same style used by professional drivers like Red Bull’s Max Verstappen and McLaren’s Lando Norris for their own race training.
Whether you're looking to drive solo or race head-to-head with friends (up to 10 racers at once!), SIM Racing offers a thrilling experience at any skill level. Drivers can chat with each other through headsets, creating a truly immersive group experience.
